The problem
Food and quick-commerce ordering required multiple app-switching steps. Shelf had evolved to support commerce widgets but needed high-value partners with real daily frequency to prove the model.
Goal
Integrate Zomato and Blinkit as commerce widgets on Shelf, order tracking, reordering, and quick-commerce access from the homescreen layer.
Outcome
Launched Q4 2024. The 'Eternal Never Settles' campaign drove major press coverage. Validated Shelf as OnePlus's ambient commerce surface.
