The problem

OnePlus users walking through an airport had no way of knowing a OnePlus Charging Station was nearby, maps apps aren’t built to surface a single gate-side amenity. A Marketing × Software OS collaboration scoped a focused pilot: turn the phone itself into the discovery layer at the gate.

Goal

Pilot a native OS feature that notifies users when they're near a OnePlus Charging Station, tracks how many steps away it is, and points to the closest one if none are in range.

Outcome

Shipped as a Marketing × Software OS collaboration across 2 launch airports and 25+ gates. The OS notifies users on approach, tracks distance to the station in steps, and surfaces the nearest station when none are nearby.
